By hooking a solar panel to your trailer it will allow you to charge your battery during the day to keep your lights on at night. At Gnome homes we do not mount the panel on the trailer. And the reasoning for that is that I personally like to park my unit in the shade, and with the 15' cord you can put the panel in the sun. And with the flange plug it hooks directly on to the battery.

Every Gnome Home is built on a custom-welded, galvanized steel frame designed to resist rust and structural failure for a lifetime.
Most SUVs and many smaller vehicles can pull our trailers easily. The lightweight aluminum skin and aerodynamic shape minimize fuel drag.
We use a Timbren 2000 HD independent suspension system. This eliminates the traditional axle, providing a smoother ride and better ground clearance.
Our trailers are compact enough to fit inside a standard residential garage, protecting your investment from winter weather and saving storage fees.
The underside is fully sealed with aluminum skin. This creates an impenetrable barrier against moisture, road salt, and nesting rodents.
